Take it to the heaaad

Lately I’ve been doing a pretty good job of being emotionally stagnant; I avoid emotional highs only because I want to avoid emotional lows (because you know how every single thing in this world comes with a complete & opposite reaction). I feel mature, like 20 years older than I really am kind of mature. Unfortunately I feel like my body is 40 too, slow, unmotivated, and predictable. I follow a schedule everyday, I spend less money, I take less chances, I go to work…to go to work. I don’t care about the money, I don’t care about making friends, I feel like I go to work everyday to learn how to work consistently, persistently, and with efficiency; basically a foreshadowing of my future. My life is becoming simpler and simpler every single day, I’m learning the biggest lessons of my life through a repetitive schedule; Don’t make excuses (i.e., don’t blame anyone or anything else for your failures) don’t judge (because judging someone else does absolutely NOTHING) do everything you can to make someone else’s life better (because that’s the only real thing that will make yours better). I wonder if I have the right mindset for my age right now.

"Well, Duncan is smart."

Perkin’s response when asked what the difference is between defending Tim Duncan and Andrew Bynum.

Ouch.  (via foreverla)
